After the initial consultation, we’ll prepare a rendering and a rough estimate of your investment. Next we take precise measurements and begin creating your custom design.

Appliance Selection & Support

We’re happy to advise you on selecting your appliances, tile, flooring, hardware, lighting and fixtures. We can work with your preferred vendors or recommend our own trusted suppliers. We’ll even go shopping with you!

Visualization Rendering

Unlike many design firms, we provide AutoCAD drawings and 3D renderings early in the process, so you can have a truly immersive experience of your kitchen before we change a single cabinet pull.

Temporary Kitchen Arrangements

With demolition and construction underway, we’ll advise you on setting up a temporary kitchen for your comfort and convenience. Nobody wants to eat takeout all the time!

Interior Design Finish Selections

Tile, countertops, flooring, color scheme and lighting are all major considerations in your new kitchen. Joan Bigg Design is available to help guide you through those decisions!

Space Planning

Space Planning is the most critical step in Kitchen Design. Appliances, work zones, placement of storage and cooking needs, removal of walls and moving or adding windows may be considered. Function and ease of circulation are major components of space planning and will make a significant difference in how you live in your kitchen!
